Therapedic developed a new foam powered by Biocrystal® Mixture, containing some of nature’s treasures, including gold, silver and a blend of crystals.

Those elements are ground down to a powder that is then encapsulated and evenly dispersed through the foam in the new sleep sets, set for introduction at the upcoming Las Vegas Market. The Biocrystal® foam, supplied by FXI, is featured in Therapedic’s new Special Edition Collection, a four-model line set to retail from $599 to $999.

 “This innovative crystal technology, which is scientifically and clinically supported, is said to not only increase energy and boost relaxation, but also to improve and enhance sleep quality,” said Gerry Borreggine, Therapedic’s CEO.
The mixture of gold, silver and a blend of crystals is proprietary to the company’s supplier, he added.

 

Borreggine noted that the influence of the crystal blend is enhanced with the addition of gold, which is known to be an energy booster, and silver, which is known to have a calming effect.

“Gold, silver and unique crystals are just some of the elements in the new Special Edition line that make that line so special,” Borreggine said. It also offers edge-to-edge sleeping support and is sharply priced.

The sleep-enhancing Biocrystal® mixture is encapsulated and mixed into the foam during production. The encapsulation allows the mixture to evenly disperse through the foam as it is being poured and set, said Susan Mathes, Therapedic’s vice president of brand relations.
